UK – Umbrella firm accused of withholding thousands owed to contractors

An unnamed umbrella company was accused of withholding thousands of pounds in pay from contractors, according to an interview aired on BBC’s Money Box radio show (topic starts at ’08:29′). During the interview, an umbrella company contractor stated that the client company forced a group of contractors to take mandatory leave during the holidays, and the group used all of the leave they had remaining.
